Flight of the Moon is a mixed media painting on canvas. Media used include tissue paper, recycled plastic, beads, bones, paper, book pages, and acrylic paint.
It measures 18"x18". It will come signed and titled on the back with a wire for hanging. It has been sealed with a satin varnish to protect the painting and the media used.
 
The Story;
The Flight of the Moon. Three owls carried the moon. One held the waxing crescent. One bore the waning sickle. And one set the full moon in the sky like a precious silver coin. Night after night, in endless cycle. Until one eve the moon shivered and woke from her perch in the dark. A shadow passed over the sky and with it something hungry. Something that swallows moonlight and owls and time. The moon slipped out of her blanket of stars. Through the trees and through the sky. Make haste make haste.... .
 
I want to make my art eco-friendly, so most of my packing materials are recyclable .
